Conjured Referrals Is Now Part Of the Shop Circle Family

Big news - Conjured Referrals (now called “SC Conjured Referrals”) has recently been acquired by Shop Circle!

When we first started Conjured in 2016, we never intended to sell any part of our business. As described on our About page, we wanted to build a “lifestyle” business that would allow us, our employees, and our customers find flexibility and freedom through software. Conjured Referrals was born from that desire, powering thousands of viral “refer-a-friend” programs for merchants across the globe, helping them increase their revenue, drive customer acquisition, and grow their repeat customer rates.

While it was never our plan to part ways with the app, we were intrigued when Shop Circle approached us earlier this year. They had resources - financial and technical - that we simply didn’t have access to. Shop Circle would be able to build more features, and improve the app’s user experience in ways that we didn’t have the bandwidth to do with such a small team. In short, we raised our baby and took it through high school - Shop Circle offered us the opportunity to put our app through college. Handing off the reins for Conjured Referrals has allowed us to focus entirely on our new app, Conjured Memberships, which powers digital memberships for Shopify stores. We’ve seen some great growth in the membership arena and look forward to helping Shopify merchants generate recurring revenue for their stores!
